Grant Lee

Grant became involved with SkyWay in 2002 when he and a friend, James Kerr, approached the charity looking for partners to help host a football tournament in Hackney. This was the start of Teenage Kicks, which Grant has been involved with every year and is attended by over 400 young people and volunteers. Grant has been the Chair of SkyWay since August 2006.

Grant works across the film, television and new media industries.

Jim Armstrong

Jim Armstrong has 30 years of experience working for youth, community and educational units in Hackney and Islington. A qualified teacher and youth worker, he has been Club Leader at the Islington Boat Club; founder of the Islington PHAB Club; Senior Youth Worker at the inception and early years of the Ufton Youth and Community Centre (De Beauvoir);  community development worker at the Finsbury Park Action Group; and has been connected with various other play and youth work initiatives. He is one of the founders of the Laburnum Boat Club in Hackney, where he currently works as the full-time Co-ordinator.

Cheryl Adamson

Cheryl is a UK qualified solicitor who brings her general legal skills to the board of trustees at SkyWay. No longer practising in the legal sector, she has now founded her own events company specialising in wedding planning. She enjoys using her party planning skills to assist with the SkyWay events. Cheryl has a history of volunteer work, particularly with young people, and her interest and enthusiasm in this area greatly help her in her role as trustee.

Barrie Brien

Barrie Brien is a qualified accountant and has worked for twenty years in the advertising and marketing industry throughout Europe and USA.  He brings a wealth of business and commercial experience to the Board of trustees and will provide input into the financial oversight of SkyWay.

Ian Wilson

Ian Wilson is a chartered accountant with over thirty years of experience in accounting and financial control. His professional experience has been primarily in Banking, and he has worked in the UK, Europe and the Far East. Ian has previously been involved in financial planning for a housing charity and has run an enterprise educational project for a school in East London. He serves as Treasurer of SkyWay.

Nick Paul

Nick works for the Crown Prosecution Service and was until recently based at Stoke Newington Police Station. His family comes from Hackney and one of his daughters lives there now. He has been involved in various charities and community based groups for many years and has experience in fund raising and charity administration.

Nick Archard.

Nick joined Skyway as a temporary administrator in October 2006 before becoming Office Manager in January 2007 and then Business Development Manager later that year. His role entailed the overseeing of the financial and administrative functions of the organisation, giving him a responsibility to both staff and the young people working with Skyway. Nick has recently completed his training as a teacher and has joined the SkyWay board of trustees.
